觀自在 - Awake (watch, 觀) the divine consciousness (self, 自) within (existing, 在)

I love Xuanzang (삼장법사, 三藏法師) for his translation of the Heart Sutra, the brevity, conciseness, and real meaning of which are translated into 260 Chinese characters. Especially, his choice of Chinese characters for the naming of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva with 觀自在 菩薩.

觀自在 was interpreted in many different ways. However, after listening to the Nag Hammadi Gospels of Thomas, Mary Magdalene, Philip, and all the gospels that were purged by the Church and excluded from the New Testament, I was astounded by the uncanny resemblance of two different teachings of Sukyamuni Buddha and Jesus Christ.

The three characters, 觀自在, collectively state our daily living and training guideline of mindfulness to lead us to enlightenment and therefore remembering (returning to) our true nature, the monad.

            摩訶般若波羅密多心經 마하반야바라밀다심경 The Heart Sutra

"Sacred skepticism is a nuanced, "third-way" worldview that combines rational inquiry with a respect for mystery, often leading individuals to question traditional religious dogma while retaining a sense of the divine or sacred. It acts as a bridge between faith and reason, emphasizing intellectual honesty, the questioning of established doctrines, and a deeper, often personal investigation of truth rather than blind acceptance."
