Humans have three choices in life.
First, to live unwholesomely. Second, to live virtuously but desire good results. Third, to live virtuously but not thinking about results.
If one fails to live virtuously, one lives in the present as a being in hell, as an animal, as a hungry ghost, or as an Asura, and even after death, one is reborn in the four hellish realms experienced in the present.
If one lives virtuously but desires good results, one is born as a human, or in a heavenly realm within the Desire Planes, Form Planes or Formless Planes.
If one lives virtuously but not thinking about results, one attains the fruit of the Dharma and escapes the cycle of life.
To reach the path of living virtuously without thinking about results, one must practice Vipassana meditation, recognizing that feelings are suffering and thus not giving rise to craving. This path is the Eightfold Path, and it is precisely the path of the Middle Way.
인간에게는 세 가지 삶의 선택이 있습니다. 첫째, 선하지 않게 사는 것입니다. 둘째, 선하게 살되 좋은 결과를 바라는것입니다. 셋째, 선하게 살되 좋은 결과를 바라지 않는 것입니다.
선하게 살지못하면 현재에도 지옥, 축생, 아귀, 아수라의 생명처럼 살고, 죽어서도 현재 경험한 세계 인 사악처 에 태어납니다.
선하게 살되 좋은 결과를 바라면 인간으로 태어나거나 욕계 천상이나 색계, 무색계 천상에 태어납니다.
선하게 살되 좋은결과를 바라지않으면 도 과를 성취하여 윤회하는 생명의 세계로 부터 벗어납니다.
선 하되 바라지않는 길로 가기위해서는 느낌이 고통이라고 알아서 갈애를 일으키지않는 위빠사나 수행을 해야 합니다. 이 길이 팔정도이며, 바로 중도의 길입니다.
Everything arises because there are conditions for it to happen. If there are no conditions for it to happen, it will never happen. Suffering arises because there are afflictions. If there are no afflictions, suffering does not arise. Anger arises because there is greed. If there is no greed, anger will never arise. Greed does not arise if there is no ignorance. Greed arises because there is ignorance. If there is wisdom, ignorance does not arise.
모든것은 일어날 조건이 있어서 일어납니다. 일어날 조건이 없으면 절대로 일어나지 않습니다. 번뇌가 있어서 괴로움이 일어납니다. 번뇌가 없으면 괴로움이 일어나지 않습니다. 탐욕이 있어서 성냄이 일어납니다. 탐욕이 없으면 성냄이 결코 일어나지 않습니다. 무지가 없으면 탐욕이 일어나지 않습니다. 무지가 있어서 탐욕이 일어납니다. 지혜가 있으면 무지가 일어나지 않습니다.

나는 어느곳에서 와서 여기에 태어나지 않았습니다. 단지 과거의 원인으로부터 현재의 결과로 왔을 뿐입니다. 이때 내가 온것이 아니고, 과거의 과보 가 원인이 되어 현재로 연결 되었습니다. 나는 죽어서 어디로 가지 않습니다. 단지 현재의 원인으로부터 미래의 결과로 갑니다.
이때 내가 간 것이 아니고 현재의 과보 가 원인이 되어 미래의 결과로 연결 됩니다. 태어나고 죽는 것은 내가 태어나고 죽는것이 아니고, 단지 조건이 일어났다가 사라지는 연속적인 현상입니다. 만약 현재의 원인이 미래를 결정할 만한 것이 없으면 미래가 결코 생기지 않습니다. 이것이 바로 열반 입니다. 열반은 탐욕과 성냄과 어리석음의 번뇌가 불탄 것입니다.
